Here Comes Peter CottonTail

Happy Easter!!! Devyn and I took Devyn's bff and cousin Laney along with us on a train ride called the CottonTail Express that I found not too far from our town. They really had a good time, and so did I.

While we waited onboard for them to call out "All Aboard" and the train to start moving, I thought maybe they were going to burst with excitement.

Once the train got us out to the field (It was about a half an hour ride each ride) there were things to do. An Easter Egg Hunt. . .

It was about 1000 degrees!

Toy trainsets to play with. . .

And of course the Easter Bunny was there. . .

Then, on Easter Sunday we did the normal morning things -
Hunted for eggs. . .

Checked out what the Bunny brought. . .

And. . . She ate the heads off of all the Peeps chicks before she decided she didn't like them. Silly girl.

Birthday Fun!!!

We celebrated Devyn's birthday today. (For those of you who care, I'm thinking we're going to celebrate it again in July on her half birthday from now on since this is so close to Christmas.)
Anyway, since about last Thanksgiving, when you asked her what she wanted for her birthday her answer was a dragon cake. So I made her a dragon cake.
